Review Board 2.5.6 Release Notes¶
Release date: June 2, 2016
Fixed a dependency problem that resulted in errors creating new sites.
We use django-haystack for our search functionality. They recently put out a new version that breaks compatibility with the version of Django we depend on. We now restrict the version range during installation so that a compatible version is used.
Fixed the star column not reflecting the correct state when switching from mobile to desktop modes.
Fixed harmless but annoying error output when using the Diff Size column.
Review requests that didn’t contain any information on diff sizes would result in spurious log information about missing keys for
raw_delete_count. This are no longer generated for such review requests.
The “Repository Plan” field no longer displays for hosting services or repositories that don’t need this field.
This was a regression in 2.5.5.
Removed a workaround for a bug fix for a Codebase API bug.
Codebase previously had a bug where the last trailing newline of a file was missing, which we had to work around to ensure patching would work. They’ve since fixed this, requiring that we remove the workaround.
- Fixed a regression in authenticating new users against GitLab servers.
- Fixed compatibility issues with diffs containing Unicode content. (Bug #4372)
- Fixed bad error reporting during authentication linking failures.
Fixed a breakage when prompting to trust SSL certificates when using Subvertpy as the backend.
Fixed Subversion 1.9 diff compatibility for new files. (Bug #4374)
Subversion 1.9 changed the format of their diffs again to change how revision information is shown for newly-introduced files. While we had some support for this, it didn’t work for the cases of diffs between branches, or diffs generated using svnlook.
We now have support for the different variants of this revision, meaning your Subversion 1.9 diffs should work correctly at this point.
