Review Board 1.7.1 Release Notes¶
Release date: December 19, 2012
Added automatic SSH key configuration for GitHub.
When configuring a GitHub repository, the configured SSH key can now be automatically set on GitHub as a deploy key. There’s an Associate my SSH key with the hosting service checkbox on the repository form that handles this.
This support will be added for other hosting services in time, and we plan to introduce automatic SSH key creation as well.
Patch by Karl Leuschen.
Upgrading from an older 1.0/1.5/1.6 release is now smoother and less error-prone, especially with PostgreSQL databases.
Added missing documentation in the initial rb-site upgrade to 1.7.x and to the Manual Updates page for setting up the new static media configuration.
The documentation URL after running rb-site no longer wraps.
rb-site no longer mashes together its own output with the database log output.
It appeared before as if there were errors during upgrade, when really these were just parts of the log that could be ignored. We’re now clearly marking off the log entries and telling the user not to worry about them unless the upgrade fails.
