New Features¶
Added support for Mercurial and Subversion repositories on Codebase.
Codebase is a hosting service that supports Mercurial, Subversion, and Git repositories. We previously supported Git repositories, and have now extended that support to Mercurial and Subversion.
If you already have an account linked on Codebase, you will need to re-authenticate in order to add a new repository. You will automatically be asked for new credentials.
Extensions¶
Custom hosting services can now collect custom authentication details.
Previously, all hosting services were expected to take a username and a password. They can now provide a custom authentication form, taking in any credentials needed for that service.
Bug Fixes¶
Dashboard¶
Fixed harmless but annoying error output when using the Diff Size column.
Review requests that didn’t contain any information on diff sizes would result in spurious log information about missing keys for
raw_insert_count
andraw_delete_count
. This are no longer generated for such review requests.
GitLab¶
Subversion¶
Fixed a breakage when prompting to trust SSL certificates when using Subvertpy as the backend.
Fixed Subversion 1.9 diff compatibility for new files. (Bug #4374)
Subversion 1.9 changed the format of their diffs again to change how revision information is shown for newly-introduced files. While we had some support for this, it didn’t work for the cases of diffs between branches, or diffs generated using svnlook.
We now have support for the different variants of this revision, meaning your Subversion 1.9 diffs should work correctly at this point.
Patch by Martin Hopfeld.
Mercurial¶
SSH-backed Mercurial paths are no longer incorrectly accepted when adding repositories.
Review Board cannot perform the types of requests needed with a SSH-backed Mercurial repository, but we still allowed users to add them, not seeing errors until they went to upload diffs. Those paths are now rejected.
