    New Features¶

    Review Board 6 Compatibility¶

Power Pack 5.2 is compatible with the upcoming Review Board 6 release.

The Power Pack 5.x series will be the last to support Review Board 3 and 4. When Power Pack 6 releases, it will require Review Board 5 or higher.

    Improved Cliosoft SOS Support¶

    • Added support for SSH-based connectivity to Cliosoft SOS.

Review Board can now talk to Cliosoft SOS over a SSH connection, meaning the Review Board server no longer needs SOS installed.

This also enables administrators to connect to SOS using any licensed user they choose, rather than needing to license the web server’s user.

    • Improved configuration for Cliosoft SOS repositories.

It’s now easier to set up your SOS projects as Review Board repositories, with guided help text, information on which user must be licensed when not connecting over SSH.

Your repository configuration will also be checked automatically when saved, making sure that Review Board can talk to your SOS projects.

    IBM ClearCase / HCL VersionVault¶

We’ve increased the number of VOB OIDs allowed for repositories.

Repositories can now contain up to 48KB worth of VOB OIDs. This lets you connect to very large ClearCase / VersionVault repositories with thousands of VOBs.

Keep up with the latest Review Board releases, security updates, and helpful information.
