- Stronger compatibility with recent Forgejo updates and Perforce 2026
- Self-managed Certificate support for more services
- A little surprise when you get your next trophy
Plus the usual bug fixes throughout the product. See the release notes for the full list of changes.
If you're on an older release and are ready for an upgrade, you can schedule meeting with us and we'll help you build a plan.
The future is in development
We have some exciting new things in the works:
1. AI with people as the priority
We've always believed people are priority one. How we treat each other, whether we look out for each other, it matters. We built Beanbag and Review Board around this philosophy.
While the industry rallies around AI-driven development and token-based profits, we worry about the burnout, cognitive debt, and job security concerns plaguing the industry. So while others rushed to build tools focused on AI, we took our time building a plan focused on people.
We'll be rolling out optional AI integration built with people and budgets in mind to help keep up with the pace of this modern world.
2. Review for Hardware/EDA
We're building EDA Review. Teams will soon be able to review schematics and board diagrams right alongside firmware code and documentation, saving you time and helping you meet your compliance and audit needs.
Reviewers can diff revisions of a board and see what changed, layer by layer, with comments tied to the components.
This is in the works now. If you work with hardware, sign up for early-access and we'll work with your team on a roadmap that meets your needs.
3. For those leaving Crucible...
Crucible's in its final days. If you're still looking for a place to move your development and review to, you're in luck.
We're building a migration path to help you switch to Review Board with all your history intact. You won't even need to replace any other parts of your stack. Stay on Perforce, Subversion, Mercurial, or even CVS. You can go straight from Crucible to Review Board and let your developers get back to work.
If you or anyone you know is needing a new home before Crucible support ends, sign up for early access and we'll schedule a meeting to help plan your migration.
