What version are you running?
1.7.9

What's the URL of the page containing the problem?
Dashboard

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go to the reviewboard dashboard with IE9

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
On Firefox and Chrome you can see a black triangle down beside your user name but in IE9 you see the ▾ as string literal

What operating system are you using? What browser?
Client: Windows 7, IE9 (works fine with Firefox or Chrome)

Please provide any additional information below.
Might be better to use the unicode code as seen here: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2701192/ascii-character-for-up-down-triangle-arrow-to-display-in-html (which works fine in IE)
